What the owner should bring to County Clerk's office:

1. 1. Provide current vehicle registration issued by your previous state (must still be valid)
2. 2. If registration is not valid you must have a copy of the title faxed from your lienholder to our office at 423-478-8845
3. 3. The complete mailing address of your lienholder.
4. 4. 2 Proofs of Identification and Residency  (More Information)

**Note: In Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New York, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Wyoming, the owner, not the lien holder, keeps the title.
