The regular baseball season competition
has come to an end. The three baseball
programs are the Blue Springs Dizzy Dean Baseball, Bradley North Dizzy Dean
Baseball, and Sports for Youth Dixie Youth Baseball. These programs provide
children between the ages of 3 and 14 years old the opportunity to play
baseball. Over 1,500 youth participated
in baseball this year.
The tournament champions are: Blue Springs 5/6 year old Diamondbacks, Coach
Glenn Marr; 7/8 year old Mets, Coach Tim Floyd; 9/10 year old Diamondback,
Coach Brent Lee; 11/12 year old Yankees, Coach Tim Colbaugh; Bradley North 5/6 year old Cardinals, Coach
Stacy Cox; 7/8 year old Cubs, Coach Brian Copeland; 9/10 year old Braves, Coach
Terry Green; 11/12 year old Angels, Coach Tony Jenkins. Sports for Youth 5/6 year old Cardinals, Coach
Scott Jones; 7/8 year old Rangers, Coach David Clark; 9/10 year old Mets, Coach
Chris Seay; 11/12 year old A’s, Coach Scott Jones.

all these local teams on their accomplishments. I would also like to thank all

The Bradley County Parks
& Recreation Department presently provides six parks, two football
stadiums, the BMX Track, and the McDonald Gym.
