Variance Request

GENERAL INFORMATION

Variance applications are due in the Planning Office eight (8) days before the regular monthly meeting of the Bradley County Board of Zoning Appeals. The Board of Zoning Appeals meets the second Tuesday of every month. It is important to meet this deadline since BZA meetings are canceled if there are no agenda items.

A survey or a drawing to scale of the request is required along with the application.

The applicant should attend the meeting of the Board of Zoning Appeals to present the request and answer any questions board members may have. The board may not consider the variance request is there is not a representative present.

The meeting is held in the Bradley County Planning, Engineering and Building Inspections Conference Room in the Courthouse Annex. Please enter under the burgundy awning on First Street. The meeting time is 6:30 PM.
